In this gastronomic experience you will discover some of the most authentic flavors of Alentejo, combining tradition, local production and history.
The visit begins atCasa Relvas Winery, a modern industrial mill where you will have a guided tour to learn about the olive oil production process, from the olive to the final product. During the visit you will also have the opportunity to participate inTechnical test of three olive oils, learning to identify aromas, flavors, and characteristics that distinguish each olive oil. The experience also includes aTasting of two winesaccompanied by some regional Alentejo products.
Then we move on toMoura, one of the cities with the greatest tradition in the production of olive oil and sausages in the Alentejo. Here we will visit theCavalheiro House, a traditional store with more than100 years of history, officially recognized asStore with History. In this family space you will have the opportunity to learn more about the local tradition, learn about the sausage production process and taste some of its handmade products, includingpaios, traditional sausages, regional cheeses and local wines.
