Who we are?
Burriscas, Lda is a family-run business founded in 2025 by Telma Carriço and Pedro Santanita, a married couple born and raised in Montemor-o-Novo with a deep passion for the Alentejo. Based in Montemor, our work extends across the entire region, celebrating its traditions, landscapes, and authentic way of life.
Our company brings together two main projects: Burriscas Campismo Rural, created in 2015, and Burriscas Adventure, a tourism operator launched in 2024. Burriscas Campismo Rural offers 4 bungalows, 4 wooden cabins, a camping area, and a refreshing summer pool — a true haven in the heart of the Alentejo for those seeking peace, nature, and a break from the city.
Burriscas Adventure is dedicated to showcasing the very best of the Alentejo. Through strong partnerships with local producers and activity providers, we create personalized experiences tailored to each visitor. From guided tours and wine tastings to visits to local artisans and a wide range of regional product tastings, we invite our guests to discover the authentic flavors, culture, and spirit of our land.
